What is it with celebrities showing off their baby bumps lately? First Jessica Simpson posted a picture of herself and her in a bikini on Twitter and now Shakira has posted a preggers snap on the social networking website to celebrate the impending arrival of her first child.
Dressed in a bikini top and a skirt, Shakira (who is accompanied by her footballer beau Gerard Piqué) looks serene and happy. The Hips Don’t Lie singer posted the following on Twitter along with the picture. Check it out:

While Shakira’s due date hasn’t been revealed to the public, in the picture Shakira looks as though she doesn’t have too much longer to wait before her baby makes an appearance.
Shakira and her man met back in the spring of 2010 when he appeared in the music video for her world cup song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa). The couple now live together in Barcelona and are eagerly awaiting their child’s birth.
The singer officially confirmed her relationship with Piqué back in 2011 on Twitter by posting a picture of them along with the caption: “I present to you my sunshine.”
Piqué, who is a centre-back for FC Barcelona, caused panic when he falsely announced the arrival of the couple’s baby on December 27. The footballer made the announcement as a joke for Dia de los Inocentes – the Spanish equivalent of April Fools Day.
