Her Girl Crush… Eleven Reasons We Love And Adore Keira Knightley

She will be back on our screens next week for the wonderful Begin Again so we just had to take the time to talk about one of our biggest girl crushes, Keira Knightley. From a swash-buckling pirate to a duchess, there really isn't anyone Keira cannot be. Here are eleven reasons we love and adore her. 1. Begin Again. Keira plays Greta in Begin Again, a woman who soon finds she is out on her own in a strange city after her boyfriend cheats on her but when a washed-up music producer takes an interest in her, everything changes for both of them. 2. Red Carpet Style. Always elegant, stunning and exceptionally beautiful. Keira certainly knows how to work a red carpet. 3. Atonement. Keira broke our hearts in the Joe Wright movie about a couple who were separated by a terrible allegation which ruined their relationship. Keira is simply brilliant as Cecilia. 4. Her Favourite Film. Her favourite film is none other... Love Actually. Keira commented: "It is obviously the greatest movie ever made." 5. She can SING! It’s certainly a talent that she has been keeping to herself but Keira Knightley can play guitar AND sing as she proves in Begin Again. 6. This interview. 7. She likes Pirates. Well, she really, really likes Pirates. 8. She loves a good costume drama. Over the years, Keira has been identified a lot with the costume drama but her performance in Pride and Prejudice was simply stunning, even earning her an Academy Award nomination. 9. This advert. Everyone knows it, everyone loves it. 10. Star Wars. It's a real sign of star power if you have been involved with Star Wars in any way and the fact that Keira featured in Attack of the Clones definitely meant that her star was on the rise. 11. She's the face of Amnesty International. Keira is the face of Amnesty International, mainly supporting an end to the death penalty. Begin Again will be in cinemas on July 11th.
