Helena Bonham Carter Speaks Out About Split From Tim Burton

Helena Bonham Carter has spoken out about her split from Tim Burton. The Sweeney Todd actress opened up during a recent interview with Red magazine. Helena and Tim pictured before their split. She said: “Our relationship was always somewhat special, and I think it’ll always remain special. “We did find each other. And really, the mark of a successful relationship shouldn’t be whether you’re there forever after. “Sometimes you’re not meant to be forever together. Sometimes you have to come to terms with the fact that was it. But that was a gift, a massive gift.” The couple split after 13 years together. The 49-year-old added: “We gave each other children and a lot more else. And we might be better, and still be able to give to each other, but not necessarily living together.” Helena and Tim announced their separation in December 2014. They were together for 13 years and have two children - a son called Billy Raymond Burton and a daughter Nell Burton.
