You’d think you could splash £25 on a dress Helen… as a self-professed “model, actress, writer and aspiring presenter” and with a professional footballer as a boyfriend?
But no, Helen pinched a garment from high street shop H&M after a photo shoot… and jokingly shared the news with her Twitter followers.
Helen said she was infatuated with the pretty floral frock after the Mail shoot at Manchester’s Great John Street Hotel. She joked with Twitter that she had “stolen” the dress from the shoot.
Posting for an Instagram snap, she wrote: “Loved this pretty dress on today’s shoot for the mail er I stole it too. £25 from H&M #steal.”
But after realising she could be making another major Twitter blunder, Helen decided to clarify the situation.
She hadn’t suddenly developed a penchant for pinching high street clobber, instead of “stealing” the dress as she claimed, the actress had in fact asked to keep it and then offered to send a cheque for the garment.
A source on the shoot said: “Helen asked if she could keep the dress and then offered to pay for it.”
Flanagan could be adding “student” to her Twitter biography soon as she’s admitted she’s keen to return to school to get her A-levels before heading off to university.
