Helen Flanagan has responded after she was mum-shamed for ‘moaning’ about the stress of parenting.

The 29-year-old shares two children – four-year-old Matilda and one-year-old Delilah – with her fiancé Scott Sinclair.

And taking to her Instagram Stories on Friday, she shared an angry message that she had gotten accusing her of “ranting” about her kids.

“Stop ranting about ur kids,” the person said. “Buckle up and get on with it!!! There are some people who are unable to conceive then u have people like urself moaning!

“It’s part of the process get on with it and stop RANTING! Which is what your doing.”

The Coronation Street actress addressed her critic directly, telling them that she was “honest” on her Instagram in the hopes that other mums would be able to identify with her and feel less alone.

The post came after she shared a series of parenting stories earlier in the day.

Helen first posted a photo of herself, with her hand pressed against her head and looking at the camera.

“To get any peace at the moment I have to lock myself in the toilet,” she said. “Any other mums do the same?”

Her next post featured a close up of a chocolate muffin, which she said she got herself after a stressful moment in the car.

“Delilah screamed so much in the car today,” she wrote alongside the photo. “I was so stressed I had to stop at Costa drive thru and inhale this.”
