Bill Montag, father of The Hills and CBB star Heidi Pratt, has been arrested in Colorado late Thursday night on child sex abuse charges.
The 67-year old, who was arrested at work at Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club, was charged with three counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, and one charge of aggravated incest. According to People, no incidents are believed to involve anyone under his trust at his place of work.
According to a press release from Aspen Police Department, both charges are class three felonies, which could see Montag face four to 12 years in prison and a fine from $3,000 to $750,000.
Montag featured in the hit MTV show when he walked daughter Heidi down the aisle for her wedding to Spencer Pratt in 2009, but otherwise kept a low profile on the reality show.
He divorced Heidi’s mother Darlene in 1990.
