Heidi Montag had this to say about Lauren Conrad ahead of The Hills reboot

LA's original cool girls are coming back and as they prepare for The Hills: New Beginnings, the girls are reflecting on the past and what went down in an eventful six seasons of the hit MTV show. From Kirsten's exit to Brody and Lauren's breakup to then, Lauren and Heidi's explosive bust-up, it might have been structured reality but what went down is still very real for many of the stars. Speaking on her falling out with Lauren Conrad (who won't be returning for the new series), Heidi spoke about the end of their friendship, 12 years on.

"Sometimes things happen that will change how you feel about people, and sometimes it's very permanent. "I thought with Lauren and me, we would've been friends again."

But there has been no flicker of hope for their relationship as Heidi went on to marry Spencer Pratt who she now has a son, one-year-old, Gunner with. Lauren is also married to William Tell, and the pair have one child together, one-year-old son, Liam. Also expected to hit our screens for The Hills reboot include Stephanie Pratt, Brody Jenner, and Justin Bobby. We cannot wait.
