Kim Kardashian has admitted that Kanye West snooped through her drawers when they first met but insists it was a good thing.
Reality star Kim’s appearance took a notable turn when she became involved with the 37-year-old rapper and it was rumoured that the ‘Stronger ‘ singer had indeed given her closet a clear out.
In an interview with LOVE magazine, Kim admitted that her husband threw out her clothes when they started dating.
“I was obsessed with glitter, rhinestone heels and the kind of clothes I now laugh at, and he threw them all out. I said, ‘Well I’m going to save them for my daughter one day.’ And he said, ‘Well if it’s going to be our daughter, she’s never going to wear those!'”
”I think he probably thought they were a bit cheesy,” she continued.
It appears that Kanye gave Kim somewhat of a fashion culture trip by brining her to London and Paris, and introducing her to things that she’d “never seen before” like snakeskin.
Did that snakeskin comment make you laugh? Because we found it amusing.
“I’d never spent time in London or Paris or seen what style was like around the world, so he wanted to bring in stylists from all over the world to just update my look. And they brought in things like snakeskin that I’d never seen before.”
Fans accused West of has being controlling, however Kim is grateful for his presence in her closet because as a result she loves fashion ”so much more”.
”But to my fans – they saw this new guy come in and clean out my closet and they thought it was a sign of him being controlling”, she added.
“But it wasn’t that at all. He made me love fashion so much more now because I’m not afraid to wear different things.”
