Richard Griffiths has sadly passed away following complications during heart surgery.
The married actor, who played Vernon Dursley in the Harry Potter film franchise, died yesterday at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire.

Already the tributes have been flowing in from those who worked with him including Daniel Radcliffe.
He said: “Richard was by my side during two of the most important moments of my career.” (The pair also appeared together in the play Equus.)
Daniel Radcliffe was one of the first to pay tribute to the late actor.
He added: “In fact, any room he walked into was made twice as funny and twice as clever just by his presence. I am proud to say I knew him.”
Richard had an incredible career both on the screen and the stage. As well as Harry Potter he starred in Withnail And I as well as The History Boys.
