Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez Divorcing After Two Years of Marriage

A-list couple Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are reportedly getting divorced after two years of marriage. According to TMZ the actress, best known for starring in films such as Gothika and Monster’s Ball, cited “irreconcilable differences” in the legal papers filed this week. Halle and Olivier are reportedly divorcing. The couple also released a statement to the showbiz website. It read:  “It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. “We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son. “We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and more importantly our children’s privacy, as we go through this difficult period.” The couple met on the set of Dark Tide. Halle and Olivier have a two-year-old son together, Maceo. She also has a six-year-old daughter, Nahla, from her relationship with Gabriel Aubry. They started dating after meeting on the set of Dark Tide. He popped the question in 2011 and two years later they tied the knot in France. The last few months have seen a number of high-profile pairings call it quits including Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting as well as Glenn Close and David Shaw.
