Greg O’Shea lands new presenting gig on Virgin Media

Ellen Fitzpatrick

Congrats.

Greg O’Shea has just landed himself a major TV hosting gig as it was revealed that he will be taking over from Martin King on The Six O’Clock Show.

Sharing the news on Instagram, the former Love Island star said: “I’ve been wanting to tell you this for so long and now I finally can.

”I’m going to be a presenter on The Six O’Clock show.

“This is an absolute dream come true. I’ve done a couple of years of presenting but I never thought I’d actually have a show.

”I’m so excited to start this journey and it’s made even better I’ll be beside the lovely @karenkostertv.

“Also big shoutout to @martinkingpresenter for such incredible work. You are an inspiration to me and I’ll never be able to fill your shoes but hopefully I’ll make it my own and do you proud on the show.

“Of course thanks so much to you all for your support as always, I can’t wait to start this new chapter!”

Virgin Media announced a massive shake up last night, with Martin King moving from his beloved slot in the evenings to a slightly earlier one on Ireland AM.

Martin will join presenter Elaine Crowley on the couch from Friday to Sunday alongside reporter Katja Mia.

“I love my Six O Clock show family and I will especially miss working with Karen and all our great contributors, but I’m so excited to work with Elaine and Katja. I will have to start setting my alarm clock again. It helps that I know the Six O Clock show is in safe hands,” Martin said.
