Good Old Phil: Schofield Tells TV Agent Who Slated Holly Willoughby to “Sod Off”

They are very close so it comes as no surprise that Philip Schofield stood up for his This Morning co-presenter.

Well it seems that Holly Willoughby certainly has at least one friend in the world, her This Morning co-star Philip Schofield.

The bubbly television personality was on the receiving end of a rather critical Daily Mail article this week.

Holly was criticised by the Daily Mail article.

Former agent Jon Roseman wrote a scathing piece on how the mother-of-two doesn’t have “a single flicker of talent.”

He also said: “Just in case you ever wondered what was so wrong with television today, you need look no further than presenter Holly Willoughby and the news that she is on her way to amassing a £10 million fortune.”

As well as doubting Holly’s presenting and interviewing abilities, he even commented on her best bud Fearne Cotton’s ‘questionable’ talents as well.

Fearne Cotton (left) was also dragged into it.

But Philip made sure Roseman wasn’t the only one to have his say. He took to his Twitter account to stand up for Holly. He wrote: “When did the rants of a washed up, out of touch, inaccurate, old TV agent become relevant? Must’ve been paid by the word #SodOffJonRoseman”.

You tell ‘em Phil!
