Mick Fleetwood has filed for legal separation from his third wife Lynn after 17 years of marriage.
The Fleetwood Mac star cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation according to court records in Los Angeles.
The couple has been married for 17 years.
Fleetwood and Lynn have 11-year-old twin daughters for whom he is seeking joint legal custody. He does however want his estranged wife to be awarded physical custody.
The 65-year-old drummer also wants sole control of music royalties as well as earnings before they tied the knot in 1995.
Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band.
Fleetwood is said to have filed the papers last month but details of the separation have only just been revealed.
