Cheryl Cole hinted that Girls Aloud are spending time in studio in preparation for a possible reunion.

The Call my Name singer was on Daybreak this morning to promote her new single but spoke about the band’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

The band was inspired by the Spice Girls reunion at Sunday’s Olympic closing ceremony and Cheryl dropped a massive hint that the girls may get back together.

Girls Aloud may reunite to celebrate their 10th anniversary

“We have our 10th anniversary this year, which is insane if you think  – it’s a massive achievement. It’s actually just exciting to be back, you know doing something,” she said.

DJ Fresh said that he has been working with the band in studio.

“I’ve been working with Girls Aloud recently.

“I can’t really talk much about it yet because it’s early days. But I can say we’ve been in the studio together,” he said.

Cheryl hit the headlines during the Olympics when she sent Team GB diver Tom Daley a flirty tweet asking him to teach her the swan dive.

When asked about the Olympic bronze medalist, she said: “I love him, I think he’s amazing. And I’d actually been watching him the day before I’d tweeted him with the synchronized diving.

“So I thought I’d just send him a message and see if he could hook something up and he could teach me good form you know for when I go on tour if I want to swan-dive off the stage on tour who knows, I could do it Tom Daley style,” she said.

Tom Daley’s girlfriend, Kassidy Cook flew into London yesterday to spend time with the Olympic beau following his success at the games.

We guess Cheryl will be a bit disappointed that her private lessons have been put on the back burner.
