Now, chivalry is not a trait that we usually associate with Mr Russell Brand, but apparently the comedian leapt to the defence of his rumoured love-interest Geri Halliwell when a heckler at one of his shows asked him a rude question along the lines of: “is she ginger all over?” Charming, right?
Apparently Russell immediately responded to the heckler with “Don’t be dirty” and said: “She’s not got hair on her back. She’s not like an orange Yeti. She’s not like some hair Jaffa Cake bear. She’s still a person, she’s still an actual person.”
Well…we mean chivalrous in a very loose sense of the word…this is Russell Brand that we’re talking about like.
Earlier this week Russell was seen out and about with another mystery woman, just as Geri said that she was having a “whirlwind” romance with him. However, according to reports, former Spice Girl Geri was pictured looking upset in London after Russell was spotted out with his new woman.
Brand’s new woman is reported to be budding actress Aimee Levoir, a student who is currently attending the RADA drama college, but it seems like Russell is still holding a bit of a flame for Geri.
He apparently begged the audience at a gig in Somerset earlier this week to not ask him about Geri, just in case he accidentally revealed intimate secrets about the Spice Girl.
“Look, give me a year and I’ll turn it into good material for you,” Russell told his audience, referring to his relationship with Geri.

After the gig, Russell is reported to have made a cross-country trip back to Suffolk where he spent the night with Aimee.
But who is Russell’s new flame? According to friends of the student, Russell has been dating the girl for just a week, yet he is already wooing her with flowers. Apparently Russell turned up at the digs that 24-year old Aimee shares with other wannabe actors in London and gave her flowers.
“It was jaw-dropping, straight out of Pretty Woman as he whisked her off in a limo. They have known each other a while but suddenly things have gone up a level. She has discovered a deep bond with Russell,” said a friend of the actress.
“There is concern she is not just another notch on Russell’s bedpost. She is far too special to be tossed aside,” the friend added.
So are Geri and Russell officially off? If the rumours about Russell’s connection with his new woman are true, then we imagine it won’t be long before a split is confirmed.
