Geri Halliwell predicts all five Spice Girls will reunite

“My hope is we come back together as a collective.”

Geri Halliwell says she believes that the Spice Girls could reunite for the first time since 2012.

Back in 2019, four members of the band reunited, but Victoria Beckham was not involved.

However, Halliwell believes that all five members could get back together in the near future.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, the 52-year-old said “there will be something” with all five of the original Spice Girls.

“My hope is we come back together as a collective,” she told the outlet. “It’s more respectful to come as one. We’ll come as one.”

“We love each other. I love them, I care about them, we want the best for each other,” she continued.

“We shared something so monumental. We’ve always believed in each other, had trust in each other, which is beautiful.”

The last time Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Chisholm united as a group of five was back in 2012.

They performed at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

Despite rumours of a falling out with Brown, Halliwell revealed that all five of the women are in a group chat together.

Halliwell also scotched rumours that she had changed her surname to Halliwell-Horner.

She is married to Christian Horner, principal of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, who was accused of inappropriate behaviour towards a female employee.

An internal investigation cleared Horner of any wrongdoing.

“We like playing games. We’re quite silly,” Halliwell said.

“I haven’t legally changed anything – Horner is the name on my passport.”
