Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell said she “feels like a fool” over her fleeting romance with Russell Brand.
We don’t want to say “we told you so” but…
The pair surprised many as they struck up a relationship after meeting again at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.
Earlier this month however, Russell travelled to a hotel in Suffolk, UK, to meet with a brunette lady he told staff was his “beloved Amy”. He didn’t make any effort to conceal the fact that he was meeting up with his love interest, leaving Geri very red-faced.
The Ginger Spice is said to be feeling embarrassed, at the very least, after the famed lothario was seen out with another woman.
“Geri feels humiliated. More than anything, she’s angry with herself.
“She refused to listen to her friends who warned her against getting with Russell and now she feels like a fool,” a source told Heat.
Russell hasn’t given up on his bad boy love antics…
But the strong lady is hiding her embarrassment well.
“Geri is certainly not going to act desperate. Outwardly, she wants to show everyone that this is no big deal. But she can’t help but secretly cringe with embarrassment,” the source added.
We live and learn Geri, although not many of us get to do that with Russell!
