George and Amal Clooney are believed to be installing a panic room at their UK home amid security concerns.
According to US Weekly, the couple have decided to create a “fireproof, bombproof, and attack-resistant” room at the mansion they share in Berkshire due to the sensitive nature of 37-year-old’s career.
Amal is involved in a number of high-profile cases including a trial related to Armenian genocide and the ‘Hooded Men’ case, which concerns alleged British torture of ten Irish men in the 1970s.
It is believed that the pair’s new panic room is primarily being built to protect the files that the barrister will be using in the work.
“Amal has high-profile clients in controversial cases. She needs to be secure,” said a source.
