Friend Reveals The Real Reason Behind Kaley Cuoco’s Split From Husband Ryan Sweeting

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting shocked fans by announcing their divorce last week, but a friend close to the couple said they both ‘seemed miserable’ for months in their marriage. The 29-year-old actress got engaged to the tennis pro after just three months of dating, and the couple tied the knot on New Year's Eve 2013. Unfortunately, it seems like the pair’s ‘totally different personalities’ was a case of opposites not always attracting. The source told People: "The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together recently, the tension was noticeable. You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. "It seemed they were trying to work out their marriage by going on dates, but they both seemed miserable." After releasing a statement on their split, the source confirmed that the summer had put a strain on their marriage: "Kaley and Ryan seem to have totally different personalities. Kaley is extremely focused and high-energy. She seems to always be working. On her off time, she also keeps very busy. “But over the summer, Ryan spent a lot of time at home. He has been struggling with injuries and barely practiced tennis. He has acted very down." In April of this year, Kaley took to Instagram to fight back at divorce rumours, writing: "I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet – this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant "conversation" regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make." The star, who made the Forbes list of highest paid actresses this year, has since removed all reference of Ryan from her Instagram account.
