Freddie Flintoff was reportedly arrested over the weekend.

The former cricket player was involved in an alleged ‘bust-up’ while out with his family, according to The Sun.

It’s reported that he was picked up by police at around 2pm yesterday and brought to a station in Cheshire in the north of England, where he was questioned for a number hours. It is believed that he won’t be charged.

Freddie has denied any wrongdoing. His wife Rachael also dismissed the reports, claiming he hadn’t been in any trouble.

“He hasn’t been arrested,” she said.

“It’s all wild rumours. I’m fine, we’re fine.”

Freddie and Rachael married back in 2005. The couple have three children, 13-year-old Holly, 11-year-old Corey and 10-year-old Rocky.

Freddie retired from playing cricket professionally in 2010. He’s best known for appearing as a team captain on Sky’s A League of Their Own.
