When you think of someone who quite regularly flashes her flesh and occasionally dresses up as her flirtatious male alter ego, do you think of your mum?
We don’t either but apparently that’s exactly what the lead singer of The Darkness Justin Hawkins and his brother Dan do.
Justin has described Lady Gaga, whom the band is currently supporting on tour, as having a ‘motherly energy.’
He told The Times newspaper: ‘She’s really nice, lovely… She’s also got something that really reminds me of our mother. Some of her energy.’
Dan echoed his brother’s sentiment, stating: ‘She just has that same kind of energy, dancing around.’
The Darkness got back together last year after spending some time apart.
And it seems that their bass player Frankie Poullain also feels the same way about the ‘Born This Way’ singer. He said: It’s funny; she reminded me of my mum as well.’
While it’s not for us to make a judgment on anybody’s home life, we do reckon that would be one interesting meet the parents situation!
