Ferne McCann’s rep addresses alleged leaked voice notes

An Instagram account has released a voice note in which a woman can be heard making cruel remarks about another.

Filming on Ferne McCann’s reality show has reportedly stoped, following a series of alleged leaked voice notes.

The reality star was filming an ITVBe show titled First Time Mum, which gives viewers a glimpse into how Ferne is raising her daughter. However, it’s been reported that filming has paused amid the voice note scandal.

A representative for Ferne has since addressed the voice notes, and claimed that they are part of a “wide harassment campaign”.

In a statement to The Sun, they said: “These voice messages are part of a wider harassment campaign designed to intimidate and discredit Ferne. They are subject to an ongoing investigation being carried out by Essex Police.

“As such, Ferne is unable to comment other than to say she offers her deepest sympathies for the distress and hurt this situation is causing Ms. Hall.”

On social media, audio clips have been circulating in which a woman speaks disparagingly about another woman. An anonymous Instagram account – @ladywhistledown195 – claims that it is Ferne speaking about the victim of an acid attack carried out by her former partner Arthur Collins.

In the clip, the voice can be heard saying: “I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The silly b**** has made a dress, a papier-mâché dress out of the newspaper cuttings from the event.

“She’ll probably win it I’m not gonna lie, only because the event and the awards that she has entered or beauty competition, whatever it is, they’re probably loving all this free press for their event so they’ll probably fix it, she’ll win it.”

The Instagram account claims that the voice is talking about a victim of Collins, who is entering a beauty pageant.

Now, a source has told The UK Sun that ITV has paused filming.

They said: “Ferne’s reputation is in tatters. ITV were due to start filming the next series of her show First Time Mum in the coming weeks but now it’s all up in the air.

“Conversations are ongoing about when the show may resume filming in light of all that has gone on.

“ITV have held talks with Ferne about the situation and they will continue to speak with her to see where they go from here.”

Collins, who dated Ferne, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and nine counts of actual bodily harm against 14 people. The charges relate to an incident in an East London nightclub in which he threw acid across the dance-floor, seriously burning many people.

Following his attack, Ferne, who was pregnant at the time, released a statement announcing that they had split.
