Fergie tears up speaking about split from husband Josh Duhamel

"It wasn't my plan. I wanted to stay married forever."

It's been a year of shocking celebrity break-ups. First we had Anna Farris and Chris Pratt and then shortly after we found out that Fergie and Josh Duhamel parted ways in February of this year. The couple who dated for five years before a marriage of eight years seemed to get on like a house on fire. Forever attending red carpet events hand-in-hand and posting photographs alongside their four-year-old son. But, once again it looks like everything is not what it seems as the couple decided to part ways. Unclear to the public the main reason behind the split, the couple both announced that it was made out of "absolute love and resect." And now, Fergie has appeared on The Wendy Williams Show speaking openly about the split. The interview which was conducted quite bizarrely (focusing on how Fergie met Josh and making remarks about how good-looking he is... WHY) clearly struck a nerve with Fergie as she began to get teary eyed thinking of her ex. "I love Josh. He's the father of my child. We forever have that project together, and we're doing the best we can" Fergie stated. Still showing clear signs of love for Josh as both a father and a friend, Fergie continued... "I think that the most inspiring thing is that you can have a beautiful thing like a child together and be great friends even if you're not a romantic couple anymore". Our heart's are breaking.
