Felicity Huffman has been released from jail.

After spending less than two weeks in a California federal prison, the actress is now a free woman.

Federal Correctional Institution of Dublin in California confirmed the news to E! this afternoon.

Last month, the Desperate Housewives actress was handed down a 14-day prison sentence in Boston’s federal court for paying to help ensure her daughter’s place at university.

She admitted to having paid an admissions consultant $15,000 to have her daughter Sofia’s SAT exam answers corrected by an invigilator in 2017.

Huffman pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and fraud in May of this year.

As well as her jail time, the star will have to do 250 hours of community service and has been fined $30,000.

When she first admitted her wrongdoing, Felicity issued a statement saying: “As painful as this has been, I am truly grateful for the lessons I have learned and for opportunity to change and live more honestly.

“I am now focusing on repairing my relationship with my daughter, my family and making amends to my community.”
