She’s known for her quirky fashion sense, so it’s hardy surprising that Paloma Faith made an impractical, if pretty, choice for running with the Olympic Torch earlier today.
The ‘New York’ singer was one of many celebrities taking their turn to carry the famous torch, and it was a doubly special occasion for Paloma, as today is also the redhead’s 26th birthday. She told fans of her excitement before the event, saying; ‘Thank you for all your birthday wishes today! I’m going to carry the Olympic torch today. Biggest candle I’ve ever blown out!’
Faith paired her special edition running shirt and tracksuit bottoms with a sky-high hairdo and dark glasses, and to bring the glamour up a notch, opted for bright red platform heels, snaps of which she posted on her Twitter page.
To be fair, she managed well on her 300m jaunt with the torch. Still, it’s not a trend we’ll be taking out jogging anytime soon.
