Fame is a fickle friend, and we’ve all questioned over a cup of tea where that lad from the dodgy 90s boyband/film/TV show ended up. We’ve decided to track them down, and catch you up on their lives to date. Have they stayed in showbiz or turned their back on the game? You won’t believe it ’til you see it.
Today’s Fame Finder: Ross Hull a.k.a Gary from ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’
He gave us the chills as Gary, the leader of the Midnight Society in Are You Afraid of the Dark? and went on to star in Student Bodies but it was actually back home in native Canada that Hull made his mark. The 38 year old swapped his storytelling for weather forecasts and has been a weatherman on various Canadian TV stations since 2005. Far from weathering any media storms (see what we did there?) he is currently the weather anchor for CBC Ottowa, and keeps his private life in the shade.
He might have ditched the trademark specs, but he’ll always be Gary to us.
