He recently admitted his rock and roll lifestyle was over, and now rapper Example has proved he is really growing up.
Beauty queen on arm, the rapper has confessed he is ready to settle down with his new love.
The singer certainly has his five-year plan in place as he says he plans to propose to Miss Australia girlfriend Erin McNaught within six months, and that he’d like to have children the following year.
Has Erin been consulted about this?!
The UK singer, real name Elliot Greave, said he was the “happiest, most confident” boy in school but was constantly mocked for his looks in school.
“I was never properly bullied,” the 30-year-old told The Sun, “but people would have a go at my features, my teeth, lips, nose, ears. The size my facial features are now, imagine that on a 14-year-old. My teeth were the same size they are now but on a much smaller head. I was basically chastised constantly but I laughed it off.”
We’d say the kid’s most-dreaded words were, “You’ll grow into them”…
Example admitted that meeting McNaught, also 30, has been a revelation.

He confessed to acting like an “absolute sh*t” in previous relationships but said it was different with McNaught.
As the 2006 winner of Miss Australia and successful television presenter, Example said McNaught intimidated the otherwise tough-skinned rapper and turned him into a “giggly school-kid”.
“When I met her, because she was famous and stunning, I was a bit stuck for words,” he admitted. “It’s not like me, I’m normally a cocky b*stard with girls. I don’t get starstruck, well, only once with Stevie Wonder – but she turned me into a schoolboy.”
Example must have shown her his more manly side at some stage as the Aussie star has now left her home country for the UK to move in with him. The two frequently discuss marriage and children.
“I don’t want to lose her, I am happy now,” Greave said, “We work well because I just can’t risk losing her, but at the same time she excites me.”
Sounds like Example’s gone all soft on us…
