Ex-Corrie actress Helen Flanagan shows off her new blonde locks on Twitter as the star turns 22.
The Coronation Street brunette was famously ordered by the soap to dye her hair back to its natural colour last year after she had dyed it peroxide blonde.
Flanagan is now free from the soap contract and is making the most of it. The actress turned 22 yesterday and showed off her new ‘do in a series of photos on her Twitter page.

Helen said she wanted a “fresh look” for her birthday.
She shared photos of her gifts she received from her boyfriend and family. Her boyfriend presented her with a very classy blue jewel ring and her parents gave the young actress a charm bracelet.

This isn’t the first time Helen has chosen to go blonde. She dyed her hair platinum and cut it into a short crop in April 2011 to be ordered by Corrie bosses to dye it back to its original colour for the show. They then added extensions to her hair so she looked like her character Rosie Webster again.
