And with much of the resulting congratulations centring on the reality TV star’s announcement, we all missed a particularly heart-melting and poignant remark from Tristan Thompson himself.
Yes, the 26-year-old athlete on Thursday commented on the now-famous black-and-white pregnancy snap of him and his KUWTK love.
“My love, Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your journey and entering your life that day at the bel air hotel,” he begins.
“One of the best moments in my life. I’m soo happy to be on this journey together with you and creating this angel from the man above,” he adds.
“Everyday I give thanks to him for bringing us together. I love you soo much and I know our angel feels the love we share together and will know that mummy and daddy loves them unconditional forever and ever amen.”

The comment was spotted by an eagle-eyed fan who screen-grabbed the words and shared them on Twitter.
As Khloe, 32, shared the couple’s happy news on Wednesday, she also took time to thank Tristan “for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen!
“Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned!”
