George Clooney is, without doubt, the definition of a silver fox and broke hearts all over the world with the announcement of his recent engagement to Amal Alamuddin.
While many of us have daydreamed about being wooed by the man himself, Clooney has largely kept his love life under the radar but details of his attempts to romance the 36-year-old human rights lawyer have now been revealed.
According to The Mirror, Alamuddin refused to take Clooney’s number after meeting him at a charity benefit and he took to sending her a string of flirty emails to win her heart, including one reading “I think the reported hottest man in the world should meet with the hottest human rights lawyer in the world”.
It obviously did the trick as she is now toting a rock the size of Gibraltar but quite frankly, we’re a bit disappointed. We were definitely expecting something a bit classier from George!
