The youngest daughter of U2 frontman Bono revealed that people often try and form relationships with her to get close to the rockstar.
Eve Hewson, who is studying acting in New York City University said that although she is rarely recognised, people who figure out her connection to Bono often try to make friends with her.
According to Flaunt magazine, the actress said: “It’s made it, in some ways, easier to find friends because it brings out certain bad things in people,” she said.
“Then you can see easier. Well, you can smell the desperation in people.”

“Obviously, every now and then someone would start singing a U2 song at a party but, aside from that, it’s not really about who you are, what you have.
“It’s just like, how you can hang out, if you can tell a good story, if you can make a good laugh.”
Eve has recently starred alongside Sean Penn in the film This Must Be The Place has already had critics talking but she revealed that her dad has nothing to do with her success.
“Nobody really cares about me. There are other famous actors on set that are more fascinating.”
The actress plays the surrogate daughter to Penn’s depressed rock star.
Eve, 21, has three other siblings Jordan, 23, Elijah, 14 and John Abraham,11.
