Nobody can deny that Dallas’ Jesse Metcalfe is easy on the eye. In fact most women would probably say that they wouldn’t kick him out of bed having seen him woo Gabrielle Solís in Desperate Housewives all those years ago.
But according to his former co-star and onscreen lover Eva Longoria, it was difficult for her to see him in that way.
The actress, who is rather fond of the younger man in reality, told The Sun newspaper: “When he was in our show, he was a baby.” We don’t know about you but we have never seen a baby like that!
Jesse rose to fame in hit show Desperate Housewives just like Eva.
She did admit however that she still has a soft spot for the heartthrob: “And now he has matured into this amazing man and amazing actor. I love him dearly and wish him all the best.”
Speaking about the show through which she met Jesse and became famous, Eva said: “I remember shooting the pilot episode when I was mowing the lawn, and thinking: ‘I hope people watch this!’ And then we got picked up and I was like a kid – excited about everything.
“I am still very excited about the success of the show. There are a lot of great memories,” she added.
We bet this barely-clothed scene is included in her “great memories.”
As to whether she would make a return to the small screen, the 37 year old said she would eventually: “Not now, because I just got out of an eight-year relationship. So not in the immediate future, but in the long-run.”
Since the end of hit show Desperate Housewives, Eva has been working on a number of films. Wonder what hunky actor we’ll see her kissing next?!
