As part of these information tidbits, the network posted one which read “Michael J Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991” during its online live stream.

The network said in a statement; “We understand the serious nature of the disease and sincerely apologise.”

It was not E!’s only health related ‘fun fact’ of the night either, with a second one reading ” Fun Fact: Robert Redford was stricken with Polio as a child”.
