Emily Ratajkowski is saying what we’re all thinking
Model Emily Ratajkowski has slated Blue Origin’s celebrity space flight.
Katy Perry, Gayle King, Lauren Sanchez, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, and Kerianne Flynn were chosen for the first all-female space crew in over sixty years.
The flight left western Texas in the US and reached 100 kilometres above the Earth’s surface in a Blue Origin vessel.

The team reached beyond the Karman line, which is the internationally recognised boundary of space.
The flight only lasted for around 10 minutes.
Celebrities like the Karashians and Oprah Winfrey praised the team, but most people slated the ‘mission’ with many questioning it.

Emily Ratakjowski was one of many calling out the celebrities involved on social media.
She said: “That space mission this morning, that’s a big show, like, you say you care about Mother Earth and you’re going to space in a ship built and funded by a company that’s destroying the planet.
“Look at the state of the world and think about how much money it took to put those women in space… for what?”
Emily Ratajkowski says she’s ‘disgusted’ by the Blue Origin space trip:

She said she felt disgusted by it.
“What was the marketing there? And then to try to make it like… I’m disgusted, literally I’m disgusted,” she added.
Ratakjowski wasn’t the only one criticisng the celebrity space flight.
Crazy how Katy Perry and Lauren Sanchez going to “space” for 10 minutes is supposed to “inspire women”, but the women who already worked at NASA are *checks notes* getting fired and getting their bios removed from the site

Olivia Munn also stated: “What are they doing? Like why? You know what I mean? I know that this is probably not the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now.”
“What are you going to do up in space? What are you doing up there?” she asked.
Most people echoed both Munn’s and Ratakjowski’s views.
Those behind the space flight not only wasted money but also damaged the planet solely for a publicity student.
