Elton John, 76, was hospitalised on Sunday night after suffering a fall at his villa in Nice, France.
Following the incident, the music star was taken to the orthopaedic department of the Princess Grace Hospital Centre in Monaco where he underwent a check-up.
According to the MailOnline, a representative for Elton confirmed that he was discharged on Monday morning and that he was back at home in ‘good health.’
“We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France, Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure.
“Following check ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and his now back at home and in good health,” the told the publication.
The Tiny Dancer singer reportedly underwent a brain scan and a lumbar scan, which thankfully revealed no fractures, according to a source in Nice.
After finishing up his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour last month, Elton has been spending the remainder of his summer at their Mont-Boron villa in France with his husband, David Furnish, and their two sons.
Farewell Yellow Brick Road is the final time fans of the music legend had the chances to see him play live as he now finds the touring process ‘exhausting’ and wishes to spend more time with his family and children.
However, Elton has not yet ruled out the release of new music in the future – fingers crossed.
