During the broadcast, the lyrics "you cheap lousy f****t” were changed to “you cheap lousy blaggard”. And Ed opened up about his nerves over covering the song during an appearance at BBC Radio One's Live Lounge this week. He said:
"It's a cover that you shouldn't really touch... I'm going to get murdered for doing this."But from the looks (and sound) of things, the studio was quick to get into the festive spirit. After performing Fairytale of New York, Ed and Anne-Marie broke out into a Jingle Bells sing-song.
