Eastenders star Shona McGarty made her singing debut with the Philharmonic Orchestra at Oxfordshire’s Henley festival last night.
The show was directed by classical pianist Fabio D’Andrea who had heaps of praise for the actress, best known for her role as Eastenders’ Whitney Dean.
“Shona has an incredibly soulful voice, and has a real hidden talent. She’s totally mesmerising when she performs and I know an audience would be completely captivated by her.
“I love to take an artist and have them shown in a different light, and the fact that Shona is known for her acting rather than her singing will make her performance all the more exciting to watch”.
Shona chose a tulle gown featuring black floral detail and her hair was arranged in a classic up style. Just gorgeous.
Here’s a video of Shona singing for Children in Need in 2012 in case you want a glimpse of her vocal talents.
