EastEnders star Lorna Fitzgerald is said to be shocked and embarrassed after learning about her boyfriend’s alleged past in porn.
The 18-year-old, who plays the role of Abi Branning in the hit BBC soap, is in a relationship with Keo Reid, a 25-year-old sports therapist that reportedly has a ‘secret’ history.
According to the Sunday Mirror, Reid engaged in online work for a fetish website that charges users €280 for a year’s subscription.
Under an alias, Reid appears in more than 20 X-rated videos, the first of which was uploaded in December 2012 and the most recent on October 16th of this year.
The couple have been together for six months.
A source told the paper that Lorna is “really embarrassed” by the news.
“She’s such a sweet girl and she’ll hate her family and everyone else finding out about this”.
Adding: “It’ll come as a real shock to them. I feel so sorry for her.”
A friend of Reid also spoke to the paper, claiming that he got involved with the site because it paid well.
“Keo just did these films as a bit of fun for good money. There’s nothing on there that’s illegal”.
“Although it features men, it’s not a gay thing. It’s a fetish website rather than a gay website. Everything is consensual and above board,” the friend continued.
“The theme of the movies aren’t sexual and Keo is completely straight. It’s not about men interacting in a sexual way. It’s a punishment or humiliation website.
“You get paid different amounts for different things depending on what you do… it’s a lot better than moving bricks around a building site all week”.
The actress is yet to make a comment regarding the allegations.
