Duffy has been seen for the first time in 10 years in a new video shared on social media
The ‘Warwick Avenue’ singer revealed back in 2020 that she disappeared following a horrific ordeal.
She first rose to fame in 2008 with her Grammy-winning album Rockferry, but she disappeared from the spotlight after being ‘raped and drugged and held captive over some days.’
In a new video shared on TikTok, the singer has made her first public appearance in over a decade to promote a remix of her track ‘Mercy’.
Fans flocked to the comments to praise her return to the public eye.
“Great to see Duffy back what a tremendous singer she is,” one person put.
A second said: “So good to see her face.”
While a third penned: “Duffy! Where have you been?!”

Duffy experienced tremendous success in the noughties, but largely disappeared.
In 2020, she explained on Instagram the reason for her disappearance.
She said: “Many of you wonder what happened to me, where did I disappear to and why.
“A journalist contacted me, he found a way to reach me and I told him everything this past summer.
“He was kind and it felt so amazing to finally speak.
“The truth is, and please trust me I am ok and safe now, I was raped and drugged and held captive over some days.
“Of course I survived. The recovery took time. There’s no light way to say it.
“But I can tell you in the last decade, the thousands and thousands of days I committed to wanting to feel the sunshine in my heart again, the sun does now shine.”
