It was “doomed” from the start and now Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe has reportedly finally put an end to her brief romance with former Geordie Shore star Greg Lake.
The star had been through a public break-up before Christmas when her former Dancing On Ice partner and long-term boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon left her without warning and began a relationship with new partner Corrie actress Samia Ghadie.
Metcalfe allegedly started seeing Greg Lake just three weeks after the split, but that has now fizzled out, according to The Mirror.
The couple were spotted kissing just after Christmas.
A source told the newspaper: “Jen and Greg were always doomed-she isn’t really over everything that happened with Sylvain.
“She’s a lovely girl and deserves to be happy, especially after everything she went through with Sylvain, which was really humiliating for her. But it doesn’t look like Greg is the one for her.”
Greg Lake was part of Geordie Shore’s first season gang.
The source continued: “They knew each other anyway, but started spending more time together.
“It all heated up very fast, but now it looks like it’s hit the skids, they weren’t right for each other.”
