Doireann Garrihy has opened up about her relationship with comedian Mark Mehigan.
The radio presenter has been dating the comedian since last winter, but it looks like the pair are only going from strength to strength.
Speaking on her podcast, Doireann and Friends, the host said she is in it for the long haul.
She told her boyfriend Mark, “I knew I wasn’t going to get the ick from you at all because if we could survive a plane, with the way you behave, and if I didn’t get the ick from that, I knew we were probably potentially gonna be in it for the long haul — potentially.”
This isn’t the first time the couple has discussed their relationship on Doireann’s podcast.
They previously opened up about their first date with Doireann saying she had to go in “for the kill” on their second date.
Doireann said Mark was too nervous to kiss her until their second date.
The RTÉ star said she “went in for the kill” because Mark was too nervous.

“We went on our second date, and it was very obvious that we needed to have a kiss.
“But it was very obvious that you were too nervous to do it, so I just went in for the kill.”
Doireann and Mark have been together since last December and recently revealed they were living together.
