Reports have confirmed that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are no longer together.
The split happened last week, with distance and their busy schedules a contributing factor to the young couple’s decision.
A source told a US website: “Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship.”
Eighteen-year-old Justin is touring to promote his latest album, while 20-year-old Selena is filming a Wizards of Waverly Place reunion for Disney Channel called The Wizards Return: Alex versus Alex, that will air next year.
The pair first stepped up publicly in February 2011 at the Vanity Fair Oscar party.
But now rumour has it, it may not just have been the pair’s work commitments that drove them apart.
There has also been speculation that Bieber, 18, might be slightly more than pals with breath-taking new Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin.
The stunning brunette and Bieber were spotted together at The Lion King on Broadway on Thursday.
And Hungarian model Barbara, only 18, later tweeted a snap of them at Wednesday’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion show, where Justin entertained the crowd along with Rihanna and Bruno Mars.
