Dido was on telly today and people are shook over how ageless she looks

If you were around in the early 2000s, you probably have a fair idea of who Dido is. You might have sung 'White Flag' on karaoke at some stage or you may just remember her from Eminem's 'Stan'. The English singer was a serious international success; her first two albums becoming two of the best-selling ones of the noughties. She's taken a few years out of the spotlight but is back with a new album and appeared on ITV's Lorraine this morning to promote it. The 47-year-old's segment went down a storm with viewers, many of whom couldn't get over just how fresh she looks.

Even host Lorraine Kelly was curious about how the singer manages to stay so youthful looking. She brushed the question away, laughing "I don't know!". Dido also addressed speculation that she'd named her son Stanley, 7, after her hit track with Eminem. Everyone assumes there's a connection between 'Stan' and her son's name, she admitted, but she's actually always loved it. "When I was a teenager, I was with my mate, I remember sitting on a wall, and they were like, 'What are you going to call your kid?' and I was like, 'Stanley'," she said. "Bizarrely, when I met my husband, that was the name that was his favourite for different reasons." Dido is embarking on a world tour later this year and told Lorraine that she can't wait for it to start. "I’m super excited. I haven’t toured for 15 years. I didn’t realise I’d left it quite that long." The tour includes a date in Dublin's Olympia Theatre in May - find out more here.
