Dermot O’Leary was furious last night after the Twitter troll, who targeted grieving Gary Barlow with insensitive comments about his recent loss, tweeted a photo of himself and the smiling X-Factor television host.
The picture-poster pretended the photograph had been taken after his insulting comments to Gary.
Kenneth Tong, 27, caused outrage on the micro-blogging site when he posted insensitive comments about the Take That singer’s stillborn daughter Poppy. Yesterday, he posted a photograph of himself and Dermot O’Leary, 39, and wrote;
“A coincidence with all that’s going on that I bump into this X Factor personality on the train. Is he angry with me?”
Kenneth Tong posted this photo of himself and Dermot, pretending it was after his barrage of insults to Gary.
The former Big Brother contestant sparked further anger by posting the photograph with his spiteful comment.
Dermot’s spokesman was quick to say the photograph has been taken a while ago.
“This photograph was taken months ago. Dermot is asked for his photo quite regularly when he is out and is always happy to oblige. He’s furious at being associated with this man and is sickened by his remarks.”
Dermot, close friends with Gary, 41, added on on his own Twitter page;
“Just saw the tweet from this cretin. Photo was taken ages ago. Had no idea who he was.”
Dermot is one of many of the Barlow’s friends supporting them at this time.
