She has opened up about it in her new book.
Demi Moore has revealed she was raped at the age of 15. The actress spoke about it on Good Morning America while she was discussing her new memoir Inside Out.
She told the host, Diane Sawyer, that she came home to find a man her mother was friends with in her house. The man raped her and then paid her mother $500.
In the book, she wrote: “It was rape. And a devastating betrayal, revealed by the man’s cruel question: how does it feel to be whored by your mother for $500?”
When Diane asked her about the ordeal, she said: “I don’t think it was a straightforward transaction. But she still did give him the access, and put me in harm’s way.”
Demi has been quite open about her relationship with her mother. She revealed that she was an alcoholic and used to bring her to bars from an early age to attract male attention.
She died in 1998.

She dedicated the book to her mother and her three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis.
