Demi Lovato has been spotted in public for the first time since leaving rehab

Demi Lovato has completed her three month stay in rehab following a reported drug overdose in July.

The 26-year-old was admitted to hospital in July after she was found unconscious on the floor of her LA home from an expected drug overdose. The star spent two weeks in hospital recovering before then transferring to a rehab centre where she has spent the past three months battling her ongoing addiction. But on Saturday night, the star was seen out and about as she ate sushi in a Beverly Hills restaurant alongside designer Henri Alexander Levy. Speaking to E! News a source who spotted the pair said:

"Demi looked great and so happy to be out. They seemed like good friends who were catching up and excited to see one another. There wasn't any PDA or romantic gestures, but she was smiling and laughing throughout dinner. She was very relaxed and at ease. She said hello to the sushi chefs when they greeted her with a big smile. She seemed happy and healthy. They stayed for an hour and a half before leaving together in his car."

The publication also reports that they're unsure if Demi is fully finished her treatment or simply taking a break to try and ease herself back into normality. It is rumoured that Demi is also hoping to leave LA and move elsewhere to start afresh. Last month, Demi's mom featured on the podcast Conversations with Maria Menounos revealing that Demi was 90 days sober and counting.
