Yvonne Keating’s partner John Conroy has dramatically deleted his Twitter account after taking part in a fiery Twitter spat with his ex Suzanne this week.

The Irish Sun reports that the cameraman quit the social networking website after being “lashed by his estranged wife online”.

The final straw came after a row about a Christmas getaway he shared with new love Yvonne.

Following the very public series of tweets, on Friday night, John informed his followers he would be quitting the social network.

John, 44, and Suzanne broke up in early 2012, after 20 years of marriage. He said this weekend: “I don’t see her tweets. I’ve never tweeted her directly. I have no comment to make.”

The dad of six had posted a number of tweets about spending time with his family over Christmas, and also about an ice-skating trip with mum-of-three Yvonne.

Yvonne uses her Twitter account quite regularly, posting photos of herself and Ronan Keating’s kids on holidays, on days out and sharing links to her VIP magazine columns.

Yvonne shared this funny snap of her daughter Ali and a certain famous bear.

Ronan Keating recently revealed what hurt him most about his split with Yvonne is that his son Jack “knows” he is a failure.

“I find it hard to explain how desperate I was. It was a horrible time but it was a horrible thing I did and I found myself in a horrible place for it.

“While we haven’t sat down and gone through the details face to face, I’ve no doubt he’s absolutely aware of what’s gone on.

“My son knows I have failed and it’s not a nice thing. I’ve got my pride. It’s tough.”
