Wexford hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald married his girlfriend of 13 years in a ceremony on Friday. Ah we love a love story. Marty Morrissey, who is a close friend of both the bride and the groom, shared the news on the nuptials on Twitter. He wrote: "Delighted and proud to be at my great friends wedding today!! Got one of the first photos with Davy and Sharon !!" "They are a great team together and we all wish them much happiness !! Dinner is at 6.30...then the Party begins !"

The picture shows off the lovely Sharon's beautiful wedding dress, which was figure hugging and featured long sleeves. She paired the dress with a pop of a red lip, and a beautiful bouquet of white roses. Davy has previously opened up about his relationship with Sharon, saying: "We get on well and try to do our best." "We are both fiery and some people say that isn’t good, but it works for us. We live for today, we enjoy each other’s company and we like the same things" And as for the proposal? Sure it was awfully romantic. "I did it at home at my place. I wrote something in the snow and I sent her down to have a look at it." We're delighted for the happy couple!
