According to reports there is a bit of scandal surrounding the new series but it’s not just a simple romance or even a love triangle, it’s more of a love mess.
Samia has reportedly left Will because of her feelings for Sylvain.
Samia Ghadie, of Coronation Street fame, has apparently ended her relationship with actor Will Thorp because of her connection with her Dancing On Ice partner Sylvain Longchambon.
He is also said to have dumped his other half, Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe, who skated with him on a previous series of the show.
The Mirror reported that Samia is single and talked about a relationship with her new onscreen partner: “Sylvain is brilliant… patient, kind and thoughtful. I can see how you’d end up in a relationship with your partner.”
Jennifer and Sylvain got together after appearing on the show together.
A source also told the newspaper that Jennifer is distraught: “Jennifer is shocked, to say the least. She thought her relationship with Sylvain was solid until a few weeks ago when he dropped the bombshell he had strong feelings for Samia.”
Talk about drama! Perhaps they should think about changing the name of the show to Romancing On Ice?
