Kate Middleton has revealed she has bought a pram… but not just any old pram, a light blue pram.
Royal watchers have hit a speculation high as the duchess told guests at a recent reception she had chosen the buggy by designer label Bugaboo.
K Middy follow in celebrities Sienna Miller and Pecahes Geldof’s footsteps as she opted for the baby designer tag.
The buggies cost up to €1,200 and come in a variety of colours. So why blue, Kate?
The royal couple have already revealed that Kate would prefer a boy, whereas Prince William would prefer a daughter as his first, but they both claim not to know of the baby’s gender.
Kate’s choice of blue is seen as a clear hint to her feelings about the baby, Bellenews.com reports.
Kate first showed off her bump in this demure powder blue gown.
The duchess has been glowing in the past few months. She is now six months gone.
Bugaboo said it had not presented the buggy to the royal couple after being advised by officials not to send gifts.
It appears the duchess must have bought the pram herself. She was also spotted purchasing a Moses basket in South Kensington with her mother last week.
Oooh, excitement! Bets are on that it’s a boy now…
The 31-year-old mum-to-be supposedly revealed the Bugaboo colour when she chatted to a group of Army wives as a drinks reception in Aldershot on Patrick’s Day.
A source claimed: “She and some of the other girls were talking about prams and one of the girls had her baby in a Bugaboo. Kate said she had bought one in light blue. It was a bit of a hint.”
The couple have spoken about their chosen baby names too. Alexandra and Elizabeth are said to be favourites for a girl, with George in the running for a boy.
